Inspiration: The Wallace Collection
Apologies for not posting every day this week, I’ve had some days off to celebrate my 21st birthday! I took a trip to London to visit the Wallace Collection. It’s by far one of the most beautiful galleries I’ve ever been to! Here’s some of my favourite works held there…
Fragonard’s The Swing
Portrait of Marquise de Pompadour
Fragonard -The souvenir
Francois Boucher
Mademoiselle de Camargo Dancing – Lancret
Francesca da Rimini – Ary Scheffer
Gainsborough – Mrs Mary Robinson
Grace xxx

Happy Birthday.
I Recently took inspiration from one of your drawings of grace. I love the way you draw noses.
Thank you v much
Lol noses actually took me a long time to learn how to draw properly, they’re so tricky. So I’m glad to help with them!
Very lovely!
Reblogged this on Adherer Blog.
Thank you for posting this…lovely
“The Swing” is one of my favorites – have you ever seen the musical Contact? They recreate this painting in a movement piece that is truly incredible. Your art is beautiful!
Ohh I haven’t, that sounds amazing! I’ll look it up! Thanks so much
