In your lonely dress…

Tonight I’m finally going to see ‘Black Swan’, so todays drawing is following the ballet theme I love so much. I thought I’d post it before the film mesmerises/ scares me.

The paper she is drawn on is actually from the early 1900’s, found amongst my old family photographs. I love the way paper ages and changes colour. My nan collected the pictures for most of her life, so for me to look after them all is an absolute joy, and just reminds me how much history there is to every family.

This piece and many others are going to be for sale at Originate Creative Craft and Vintage Fayre at Flitwick Village Hall, Bedfordshire on Saturday the 12th of February. This will be my first time selling at a craft fair, so I’m a little nervous/ excited. But more information about that to come soon…
